- Under 45 years of age
- have a suitable skills assessment
- Be able to score minimum 65 points
- must have competent English
- Your occupation must be on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List MLTSSL
- must meet health and character requirements.
Eligibility requirements - New Zealand stream
- You must hold a New Zealand Special Category (subclass 444) visa
- continuous of 5 years usual residency in Australia ( This must have started on or before 19 February 2016).
- Unless you are exempt, you must be at least the minimum income threshold.
- If you applied on or after 1 July 2021You must demonstrate that you have met the minimum income threshold for at least 3 completed financial years in the 5 years immediately before you apply.
- If you applied before 1 July 2021 You must demonstrate that you have met the minimum income threshold for at least 4 completed financial years in the 5 years immediately before you apply.
